Terms of Service for UnicornDev AI Chrome Extensions

By installing, accessing, or using any UnicornDev AI Chrome extension (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the extensions.

1. The Service

UnicornDev AI provides Chrome extensions that use artificial intelligence (via Anthropic's Claude API) to help you write, summarize, generate replies, and prepare briefings. The Service is provided on a freemium basis: a daily free-tier quota and an optional paid Pro tier for unlimited use.

2. Account and Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You must sign in with a valid Google account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts to bypass tier limits is prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit involving minors.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extensions or backend.
• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or headless browsers to interact with the Service.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, free-tier limits, or authentication.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its outputs as-is without substantial modification.
• Use the Service to violate the terms of any third-party site (e.g., Gmail, LinkedIn, X/Twitter).
• Submit content that you do not have the legal right to process.

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

4. Subscription and Payments

• The Service offers a free tier with a daily limit and a paid Pro tier with unlimited use.
• Paid subscriptions are processed by ExtensionPay / Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to their terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are governed by the payment processor's policies.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions honor the price in effect at the time of purchase until the next renewal.

5. AI-Generated Content

• The Service uses third-party AI models to generate text. We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or originality of AI-generated content.
• You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before using it. Treat the output as a first draft, not a finished product.
• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, hallucinated facts, or inappropriate phrasing. Do not rely on the Service for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
• You retain ownership of the inputs you submit and the outputs you generate, to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms of the underlying AI provider.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please read it.

7. Intellectual Property

• The extensions, backend, prompts, and branding are the property of UnicornDev AI and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or internal business use.
• You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without written permission.

8. Service Availability

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
• We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, or freedom from bugs.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. For paid subscribers, material discontinuation will include a prorated refund of unused subscription time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• UnicornDev AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.
• You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UnicornDev AI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by uninstalling the extensions and emailing support@unicorndevai.net.
• We may terminate or suspend your account for any violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the extension popup and take effect 14 days after posting. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
